That movie was AMAZING! I went to watch it for my birthday with family and friends! ^^ :3 Because we booked for a birthday party, we had a whole row reserved for my birthday! It was awesome XD LOL
Though falling asleep during a movie isn't a rare occurancy for me, no. I honestly think it doesn't match the book and both the LOTR books and movies.
By itself it would've been a good movie, but the inconsistent approach to humor hardly seemed fit for the story. Bilbo looked like he walked right into the movie after a shooting of a bad sitcom.
Nope. I didn't care for the more somber tone. It wasn't how I experienced the book when I first read it or anytime since. I wish they'd gone with their original plan: one movie that was more of a straight, literal adaptation of the novel and a second film that covered the time between the end of The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring.

Are you one of the few that fell asleep or something??
