I don't care about lights or noises. But I have the funny thing of not being able to sleep for more than 5 hours somewhere else except my bed. And I sleep best when I have either my boyfriend next to me (whose arm I clinge to) or my stuffed doggy named Oddy (and I am a mature 18-year old girl). Oddly enough, when I was a child, I never slept with toys. I began when I was 15 >.<
Who would turn them on?! Unless you're 5 and afraid of the dark >.> Then it's anoth story...But No, pitch-black for me, can't even try to sleep with anything else *has nsomnia, dark lights is the only thing that make eventually fall to sleep*
At night, I want every light off unless it's the tv which I set for about...fifty minutes and it'll turn it's self off. (That's what sleep buttons on remotes are for) If it's daylight, I can sleep outside on my back with my face to the sun and be perfectly fine. XD

Your body still thinks its day time if you have the lights on and you don't grow, also the brighter it is, the more likely you are to have nightmares.
so moral of the story is sleeping with the lights off is alot more healthy for your body, mind and soul.
If it's daylight, I can sleep outside on my back with my face to the sun and be perfectly fine. XD
