I honestly don't know what my metabolism is like! I've definitely put on quite a bit of weight since puberty, probably because I exercise much less. But I also love eating chocolate and sweet things, and I often go on food binges, which is absolutely terrible, and makes me feel terrible too. I think that my weight gain has to do both with my metabolism and less exercising. Or maybe even a bit of hormones, too?
But something that's always made me wonder, is I remember my friend who has quite a fast metabolism telling me that whenever she get a sugar-high, it never lasts very long because of her fast metabolism. And I can eat almost anything and it makes me bounce off the walls for hours.
Mine's like overactive or something. I've got two hours to eat and if I don't, I start getting really light-headed and woozy. I've come close to passing out before, from not eating right before bedtime and then not eating right when I wake up.
