iPad...hurrhurr.

Anyway, it's ridiculous. The point of an iPod/iPhone is to easily carry it in your pocket and use it at convenience. Who would want to lug around that big ole' thing? Also: touch screen keyboards fail. It gets dirty and gross quicker than a normal keyboard.

Kudos to all the people who do realize that the iPad is a GIANT iphone/itouch minus the talking and texting power.

iPad is a worthless device. It may look nice and have a nice big touch screen, but it can only do 1 thing at a time. it's a single tasker, not a multi tasker. the lowest level laptop can do more than this thing can. I'd gladly lug around my laptop instead of this $500+ piece of equipment.

Honestly I use to like macs and apple products a lot until I starting learning more and actually using Microsoft products why pay more money to a company when you can get something that is probably better for a better price.

Apple is great at... um... rebranding old ideas? Woohoo. No really, take a look at all of their products. I would praise them if they reinvented a lot, but in many cases they've stripped basic functionality from useful things like media players, phones, and now even a tablet computer. If it has a 32-bit or 64-bit CPU, you can bet a lot of people will buy them anyway as a cheap Tablet PC to run some other OS on, if possible.

They lack a lot of desired features that they're planning to add later, as they upgrade the price, sooooo... really, it's hard to say if it's a worthwhile product.

But yeah, this gap between notebook and smartphone has already been filled by MIDs and Netbooks, both just as affordable, and offering more features. I guess if you NEED Mac/iPhone software, this would be fun to have.

But in the end, it seems like they're trying too hard. Just my opinion.

Where is the "No way in *censored*" option????

Do I want one? There are many things I'd rather have than anything apple... h1n1, rashes in unpleasant places, a huge energy bill... you get the idea. I wouldn't even want a FREE ipad, itouch, iphone, or ianything. I have zero use for their stuff even if I did like it (I even have enough paper weights, thank you).

Oh and to all apple/mac fanatics (seems like there are 300+ of you here), don't bother flaming me, I do NOT care if you think I'm stupid/lame/etc for not wanting one and your flames won't changed my opinion. Just relax and keep in mind this IS a poll.

500$US for a big iPod Touch. - , - No way.
